Tubebuddy wont give you subscribers at least not in the direct way. What Tubebuddy can do is to help your videos get more views by optimizing them for search, thumbnail testing, finding keywords where you can actually compete for the top spots etc. Then it's up to you and the quality of your videos if the new viewers will subscribe.

I agree with @Ater since all TubeBuddy does is provide the tools for you to optimize your video and depending on your level you get access to more researching tools. Overall it's SEO, Thumbnails, High Quality content etc which make or brake a channel so it comes down to you for gaining subscribers.

You cant get the subs directly...you can use the seo and the tags to help it come on search and if your video is more popular more people will subscribe
